Frisco Winter Events & Activities
Skiers at Frisco
Nordic Center

Winter special events, sponsored by the Town of Frisco, include Frisco's Old Fashioned Christmas, the Governor's Cup, the Frisco Gold Rush, Colorado's oldest citizen's cross country ski race, and the Tubbs Romp to Stomp out Breast Cancer snowshoe walk.

Cross Country skiers haven't been forgotten in Frisco. The Frisco Nordic Center, on a forested peninsula overlooking Lake Dillon, offers 35 kilometers oset track, ski rentals, instruction, and equipment sales. The Center, which boasts a 1,400 sq. ft. log lodge, offers the Frisco Cup Challenge, a series of dryland training and Nordic races throughout the season. It is also home to Two Below Zero Sleigh Rides, a horse-drawn dinner sleigh ride experience.

For non-skiers, the outdoor activity menu includes snowmobiling, ice skating, ice fishing, snowshoeing, and even sled dog rides!
