When wildflower-laden meadows sprout from melting spring snow, Frisco
emerges as a summer playground. Bike shorts and Birkenstocks replace
ski bibs and Sorels as the attire of choice; ski racks give way to
bike carriers and camping gear.
Summer activity is as varied as the people who travel here to experience
it. Some prefer leisurely-paced recreation - such as golf - while
others embrace more challenging adventure such as climbing or white
water rafting. Still others sample tennis, four-wheeling, mountain
biking, or in-line skating and biking on the 50+ miles of paved path
which streaches from Vail to Frisco and Dillon and from Keystone
to Breckenridge.
